Overview:

  • Establishment of ICC: The committee was created in compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013. It includes senior faculty members who play a pivotal role in addressing complaints of sexual harassment and discrimination.
  • Monthly Meetings: The ICC meets monthly to discuss ongoing issues, complaints, and any improvements needed in the institution’s policies or approach to handling complaints.
  • Training Programs: Regular training is conducted to sensitize employees about gender issues and to raise awareness on how to handle sexual harassment and discrimination effectively.
  • Impact: The ICC contributes to a safer, more inclusive environment while working on identifying areas that require improvement to strengthen its impact further.

Key Activities:

  • Formulation and Dissemination of Policies: The ICC has worked on creating clear policies for addressing sexual harassment and discrimination, ensuring that all employees and students are aware of the rules and procedures.
  • Regular Awareness Programs: Awareness programs are conducted regularly to inform and sensitize the campus community about gender-related issues and the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
